‘I Had Some Issue With One Of The Members…’, Ambati Rayudu Big Revelation About His Omission From 2019 World Cup Squad

The former Chennai Super Kings batter Ambati Rayudu has come up with an interesting statement regarding his exclusion from the Indian Team Squad from the 2019 ODI World Cup hosted by England and Wales Cricket Board. In place of Rayudu, Vijay Shankar was added to the team as the specialist batter in the middle-order.

Rayudu has now given an interview with TV9 Telugu in which he has revealed his possible reason behind the omission from the team. The cricketer from Andhra Pradesh has said that he had some issue with one of the board members of the selection committee which eventually kept him out from the 2019 ICC event.

However, the former CSK batter did not come up with the name, but he hinted that he has some rivalry with one of the members from the initial stage of his international career.

“I had some issues with the members of the selection committee when I was playing with them in the early stages of my career, which might be one of the reasons why I was out of the team in World Cup 2019,” Rayudu told TV9 Telugu.

To those who don’t know, Rayudu was one of the main applicants from Team India at no.4 in the ODI World Cup in England but at the last time his sudden exclusion raised questions among the fans. The cricket fraternity also rose their concern for Rayudu
