“I am on…”Sunil Gavaskar’s Powerful Message To Sarfaraz Khan After His Dismissal In Dharamshala Test

Team India’s star middle-order batsman, Sarfraz Khan, has been in the news ever since the Mumbaikar made his test debut for Team India in the ongoing series against England.

Sarfraz Khan impressed everyone, as the batter scored 50 in his debut test match in both innings. Sarfraz Khan continued his form in the fifth test match of the series as well.

The star Mumbai batter scored another half-century (56) on just 60 balls, which included eight boundaries and one six.

However, just when Sarfraz Khan was looking all set to go big,. He lost his wicket on the first delivery of the third session and was dismissed by Shoaib Bashir.

Sarfraz Khan, along with Devdutt Padikkal, had strayed 95 runs before Sarfraz Khan got dismissed against the run of play. Sarfraz Khan’s dismissal did not go well with the great Indian opener, Sunil Gavaskar.

Sunil Gavaskar was not at all satisfied with the shot attempted by Sarfraz Khan. Speaking on the same day, Sunil Gavaskar said, “The ball was pitched up; it wasn’t short enough for that shot. Goes for it and pays the price. I mean, you are playing the first ball after tea. Give yourself a little sight. Don Bradman said to me, ‘Every ball that I face, even if I am on 200, I think I am on 0.’ And here is [Sarfaraz] playing such a shot as the first ball of the session.”
