“I am not…”David Miller gives a Shocking statement regarding the impact player rule

GT’s star middle-order batter, David Miller, also shared his opinion about the impact player rule. David Miller feels that the impact player rule should be scrapped. David Miller feels that the impact player rule has lessened the role of the all-rounder.

David Miller said, “Everyone has their opinions about it, but for me, I am not a massive fan of the rule. The game of cricket has 11 players, and it would be nice to stick to that.”

Miller further added, “Rohit said that international cricket is not like that, and I feel it’s better to keep it the same as international cricket.

Miller feels that the all-rounders are completely ruled out of context. Miller said, “It’s creating six bowlers and eight batters, taking all-rounders out of contention. At the end of the rule, it is there, so we have to play according to the rule.”

The Titans emerged victorious in their previous encounter against the Punjab Kings; however, Miller feels that they need to show a bit more fight to climb up the points table.

David Miller said, “As a team, there have been some close games that we won and also one or two close games that we lost. I think it’s just about getting back to basics, feeding off each other, and making good partnerships. We just need a little bit more fight.
“We win the next few games, and we are really in the mix, so it’s very important.”

The last time these two teams came against each other, the Gujarat Titans were bowled out for just 89 runs.
