“I am making most of…”Rinku Singh drops a massive statement on getting less chances to bat in IPL 2024

KKR star finisher Rinku Singh has rubbished concerns about getting fewer opportunities to bat in the ongoing IPL season. Rinku Singh played as an impact player in KKR’s clash against the Rajasthan Royals.

Rinku said that he is trying to make the best use of the opportunities that are coming his way. In his designated role as a finisher for KKR, Rinku Singh played a superb knock, scoring 20* of just 9 deliveries.

In his post-match presentation, Rinku Singh said, “That day was my day. It was a very good feeling (5 sixes in 2023). But, this season, I have not been able to get a lot of chances to bat. The top-order batters are doing very well, for instance, Narine today. Whatever opportunities I get, I will try to score in them.”

KKR posted a mammoth total of 223 on the board on account of a prolific hundred from Sunil Narine. However, the Rajasthan Royals won the thrilling encounter by 2 wickets on account of a spectacular knock from Jos Buttler, who scored 107*.

Rinku Singh is one of the probables who will feature for team India in the upcoming World Cup but has only played 51 deliveries in this year’s IPL.

Rinku Singh, who has been KKR’s best player in recent years, also shared views of KKR using him as an impact player.

Rinku Singh said, “I have a bit of a niggle. That’s why I have not been able to field. In the next match, which is on April 21, I will field.”
