‘I am fully fit and preparing well for the IPL 2023, MS Dhoni’s Biggest Weapon Is Ready To Take The Charge

IPL is all set to begin on 31st March where MS Dhoni’s side will take against the defending champion Gujarat Titans. Before the start of the tournament, CSK faced a setback where Kyle Jamieson has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury.

However, in this chaos, there is good news for Thala fans as well. Star Indian pacer Deepak Chahar who missed his IPL 2022 due to a back injury is all set to make his comeback for the yellow jersey. The bowler himself is fit and looking to swing the ball under the captaincy of MS Dhoni.

Due to injury concerns, Indian all-arounder Deepak Chahar had a forgettable 2022. He was unable to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2022 and could only temporarily join the national squad before getting injured again.

He was ruled out from the 2022 T20 World Cup but played in the away series against Bangladesh and New Zealand. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who finished ninth in the points standings in IPL 2022 missed the services of Deepak Chahar whom they bought at the cost of Rs 14 Crore.

Chahar has talked to PTI and said, “I work hard for the past two or three months on my fitness, I am fully fit and preparing well for the IPL. I had two big injuries. One was a stress fracture and one was a quad grade 3 tear. They are both very big injuries. You are out for months. Anyone who comes back after the injury takes time, especially for the fast bowlers.”

Chahar further added, “If I was a batter I would be playing way back long but as a fast bowler, when you have a stress fracture, it is very tough to get back on track. You can see other bowlers struggling with the back as well.”

Chahar also said that he is not worried about his place in team India. The bowler stated that he is looking to contribute 100% with bat and all and with a great performance he can make it into the team.
