“I am a very Tough…” Gautam Gambhir Gives A Sevage Reply To KKR Management Ahead Of The IPL Season

One of the most successful captains of the Indian Premier League, Gautam Gambhir, won two IPL titles with KKR, one in 2012 and another in 2014, as the skipper of the team.

The dashing opener is now going to start a new journey as a mentor for KKR for the upcoming IPL season. Gambhir was made the skipper of KKR after the franchise failed to reach the knockout stages of the tournament.

In a promotional event, Gautam Gambhir said, “I can assure you that whenever I leave this place (KKR), we will be in a much better position.” 
Gambhir further added, “I want to make one thing clear. I didn’t make KKR successful; KKR made me successful. KKR made me a leader.” 

Gautam Gambhir is known for his attacking style of captaincy and his very good technique in the game. He is all set to be accompanied by another veteran coach, Chandrakant Panda. Gambhir also gave a savage response to KKR management ahead of the upcoming IPL season.

Gambhir said, “I’m a very tough guy to handle. I have to thank SRK (Shah Rukh) and Venky Mysore (Managing Director of KKR) for putting up with my tantrums all these years.” Gambhir, an elected MP from East Delhi known for his straight talk, said the day he joined KKR, Shah Rukh gave him a free hand. “He (SRK) told me the same thing that he had told me when I joined as a player. ‘This is your franchise; make it or break it.”.
