“How much will Virat kohli…”Sunil Gavaskar slammed Royal Challengers Bengaluru after their loss against KKR

Virat Kohli continued his fine form in the IPL, scoring another half century against KKR.

However, in spite of Virat Kohli scoring a half-century KKR went on to win the match, propelling RCB to their second loss of the season.

In spite of the star-studded batting line-up barring Virat Kohli, all other RCB batters failed to put up a show with the bat against KKR.

Talking about the same former Indian opener, Sunil Gavaskar slammed RCB for their poor performance with the bat.

In his interaction with Star Sports, Sunil Gavaskar said, “You tell me how much Kohli will do alone; someone should accompany him. If someone had supported him today, he would definitely have scored 120 instead of 83, so this is a team sport, not a single-man game; he didn’t get any support today.”

Virat Kohli has been in sublime form upon his return to cricket after a two-month break. Kohli scored 83 of just 59 deliveries, which included four fours and four sixes, helping RCB post a cumulative total of 182 on the board.

However, RCB’s bowling lineup once again flattened, leading to their second loss in three matches of the tournament.

Royal Challengers Bangaluru will now take on the Lucknow Super Giants on April 2 in Bangalore before coming out of their home ground for the first time in this tournament.
