How Many Countries ‘ODI World Cup Trophy’ Will Make Its Tour And When Will It Comeback To India?

The most anticipated ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is scheduled to begin on October 5 in Ahmedabad. The fans are highly excited for the tournament as it is happening in India itself. As part of the build-up to the tournament, the prestigious trophy is currently undertaking a global tour. During this it will cover 18 countries across the world which includes countries like Kuwait, Bahrain, Malaysia, the United States, Nigeria, Uganda, France, Italy, and of course, India.

The trophy recently made its way to Ladakh. During this, the trophy was prominently displayed near the scenic Pangong Tso Lake and the iconic Shanti Stupa glorifying its brilliance. Continuing its tour, the trophy arrived in West Bengal on Thursday, July 6, where it made a special appearance at Modern High School in Kolkata. During this, the former Indian legend Jhulan Goswami was also there and the students had the opportunity to share the stage with the cricketer.

With this campaign by the ICC, the management wants more and more fans to take a glimpse of this World Cup trophy. Let us tell you that the trophy tour started in India on June 27 and it will remain here till July 14. After this, the trophy will take the tour of different countries around the World and then it will return to India by September 4.

The first match of the 2023 ODI World Cup will be played between the finalists of the 2019 event, England and New Zealand. Talking about team India, Rohit Sharma and company will play their first match against Australia on October 8 in Chennai.
