How did Sai Kishore react to the flurry of boundaries in GT’s loss to DC ?

Gujarat Titans young spinner Sai Kishore believes that the partnership between Axar Patel and Rishabh Pant took the game away from the Gujarat Titans. Despite being reduced to 44/3, Rishabh Pant, along with Axar Patel, added 113 runs for the fifth wicket to bring the capitals back in the contest.

In the final 5 overs, 97 runs were scored, which helped Delhi propel to 224/4. Sai Kishore believes that the flurry of boundaries in the final five took the game away from them.

In his press conference, Sai Kishore said, “Axar and Pant batted really well. Rishabh scored a lot of boundaries off good balls, not necessarily sixes, but for fours as well. That got them the momentum, and in the last 2 to 3 overs, we conceded more sixes than fours, and that resulted in the game going out of hand” .
However, in spite of chasing such a huge target, the Titans did not give up and fought till the last over, but they lost the match by 4 runs.

Speaking of the same, Sai Kishore said, “A win would have put us in a commanding position. But the best part of this team is the belief everyone carries. Even in this kind of chase, everyone believed that we could pull this off. That is what this team has been built on.”
