Rajasthan Royals paid a special tribute to their spin grandmaster, Yuzi Chahal, who became the first player in the history of the IPL to pick up 200 wickets.
Like all other franchises RR posted a special post for Yuzi Chahal as a mark of respect and to celebrate his lagacy in the league. RR, however, took it one level up.
RR updated their bio on X, in which they wrote “Yuzi Chahal plays for us, “after which they used a heart’ emoji.
Chahal achieved this historic feat after dismissing Mohammad Nabi in the 8th over.
However, apart from this, Chahal had an average day in the office. The star bowler went for 48 runs in his four overs.
In the previous edition of the IPL, Chahal had surpassed DJ Bravo as the leading wicket taker. Chahal made his IPL debut for the Mumbai Indians in 2011 and played just one match for them against KKR.
Speaking about the match Rajasthan Royals won the match in quite convincing fashion by nine wickets.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was the star for them, with the bat scoring his first IPL hundred of the season (104*), while Sandeep Sharma was the star, with the ball picking up his maiden five-wicket haul.
