“He Is Overweight And Because Of That, He Is Not Very…” Salman Butt Criticised This Star India Batter

Former Pakistani Captain and batter Salman Butt feels that Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant is overweight and unfit. Currently, Rishabh is playing in the first test against Bangladesh in chattogram. Pant scored 46 runs in 45 balls in the first innings. Butt said that Pant tried to play innovative shots, and it would be easier for him to play those shots if he was fit.

“Rishabh Pant was playing the way he likes to, but he went for something innovative and got out. It was a weird dismissal as the ball hit the bat, pad before rattling the stumps. I always speak on Rishabh Pant’s fitness because the kind of shots he plays and tries to innovate, it would be easier for him execute those shots if he was fit. I think he is overweight. Definitely, he is overweight and because of that, he is not very agile. He is under the level where he should be, in terms of fitness,” Salman Butt said on his Youtube channel.

Pant played a magnificent knock of 46 runs and helped India reach 404. When Pant came to bat, India was struggling on 48 for a loss of 3 wickets; he made a crucial partnership of 64 runs with Pujara.

Indian team scored 404 runs in the 1st innings; Pujara scored 90, Shreyas 86, Rishabh 46, Ashwin 58 and Kuldeep 40 runs at the end. Taijul Islam and Mehidy Hasan Miraz claimed 4 wickets each for Bangladesh.

When Bangladesh came to bat in the 1st innings, they were bundled out on 150 runs by a strong Indin attack; Kuldeep Yadav claimed 5 wickets, and Mohammed Siraj claimed 3 wickets.
