After the game, RR skipper Sanju Samson lauded the impact of veteran pacer Sandeep Sharma, drawing a comparison to Jasprit Bumrah.
While praising Sandeep Sharma, Sanju Samson said, “I am thrilled for him. Despite not being selected in the auction, he returned as a replacement player and delivered an outstanding performance with his bowling. Looking at the number of overs in the last two years, Sandeep Sharma has emerged as the next top bowler after Jasprit Bumrah. He has done an excellent job.”
