He Could Be The Hardik Pandya Of Pakistan Cricket Team In 2023 ODI World Cup, Opines Mohammed Amir

All-rounders are termed to be the most important assets for any team when it comes to the big tournament. India has got some players in past years and Hardik Pandya is one of them. Pandya has been absolutely brilliant in every situation. India is hosting the 2023 ODI World Cup and Hardik Pandya would be definitely the biggest weapon for India.

Meanwhile, Pakistan former batter Mohammad Amir has named one player who could imitate the same role as Hardik Pandya for the Pakistan Cricket Team.

Mohammad Amir feels that Shaheen Afridi is an outstanding fast bowler for Pakistan and he has the potential to become a superb all-rounder for the country in the upcoming 2023 ODI World Cup which is slated to happen in India.

Shaheen Afridi has achieved praise for his batting performances during the current season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Playing for Lahore Qalandars the batter has already scored a fifty in the PSL 2023. Many times Shaheen Afridi got promoted up to the batting order and it turned out to be a positive move for the team.

While talking to Hindustan Times digital, Amir said that if Shaheen Afridi can focus on improving his batting skills he has the potential to become an all-rounder for Pakistan like Hardik Pandya is for India.

Amir said,”If he keeps working on this and believes that he can improve his batting, then definitely. Practice makes you perfect. I saw that he can hit long sixes and scored a fifty as well.”
