Harmanpreet Kaur-led India Set To Conquer Bangladesh In T20I Series

The women in blue are all set to face the Bengal Tigers in a T-20 series scheduled for April-May.

This series will consist of five matches that are set to be played between the two sides, keeping in mind the T-20 World Cup, which is set to take place in October 2024.

As per the reports, all five matches of the series are set to be played at the Sylhet International Stadium.

The series between Bangladesh and India will be played after Australia’s tour of Bangladesh, which consists of three ODIs and five T20s to be played between the two teams.

All the matches between Bangladesh and Australia will be played at the Sher e Bangla International Stadium in Mirpur.

Bangladesh’s newly appointed women’s cricket chief, Habibul Bashar, feels that playing against the top teams in bilateral series will help their team prepare well for the upcoming mega showpiece event, which is going to take place in October.

The last time team India toured Bangladesh, the Harmanpreet Kaur lead side went on to defeat the hosts by a margin of 2-1 in 2023.

This tour is also remembered as one of the most controversial in Indian cricket, as Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur went furious on many occasions after the decisions made by umpires were not in India’s favor.
