“Haris Rauf is under pressure but… “Babar Azam gives a huge statement regarding Pacer’s comeback in Pakistan cricket

Pakistan’s skipper, Babar Azam, has backed his pace bowler, Haris Rauf, to make a comeback in international cricket. The star pacer has been going through a lot in cricket ever since he returned to Pakistan after playing the World Cup in India.
Before the start of the Pakistan Super League, he was sacked from Pakistan’s central contract and later suffered a shoulder injury while playing for Lahore Qualandars, which ruled him out of the entire tournament.

Haris Rauf has not been in action as the pacer has not played any cricket since the past two months. However,  the paceman is set to make a comeback in international cricket as he has been named in the squad for the T20 series against England and Ireland.

Pakistan’s skipper, Babar Azam, was equally impressed with Pacer’s return to full fitness after suffering an injury.

In his press conference, Babar Azam said, “Haris Rauf’s fitness is much improved; I wasn’t expecting him to recover so fast. He’s positive about his involvement in the tournament and very driven to succeed. There’s pressure on him because there’s been a lot of talk about him, but I think he’ll come back strong. When you come back from a rest, mentally and physically, you can create quite an impact.”

Pakistan have recently appointed Gary Kirsten as their new head coach, who will be taking his first assignment with the team as Pakistan is set to face Ireland in the T-20 series, which starts on May 10 in Dublin.
