Jacques Kallis from South Africa is indeed the greatest all-rounder of world Cricket History. From batting to bowling in all the three major formats of cricket, he was perfect at all courses. But now Kallis has given a verdict on who is best between Hardik Pandya and Ben Stokes.
If we see the current era, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya and English all-rounder Ben Stokes have been the two most impressive players in the game. They are flexible to bat at any number and add those valuable overs in important games. Not only in batting and bowling but they are also solid in fielding.
During an interview with NDTV when asked to give opinion on the best all-rounder between Pandya and Stokes, the former South African all-rounder came with an interesting answer.
Kallis said,”These two (Hardik Pandya and Ben Stokes) are world-class all-rounders. All-rounders are something you need to look after; they don’t come around often. I am sure both of them will play a big role for their respective teams. It will be a good battle between both of them.”
India and South Africa are currently playing a 3-match T20I series against each other and the hosts are one up with the two more games to go. Kallis also talked about the chance of India and South Africa in the upcoming T20 World Cup. He said,”I think both India and South Africa would be up there in terms of teams to watch out for in the T20 World Cup. It will be an important series in India now between these two teams even though the conditions would be different. I think these two teams would be up there, in the World Cup, you need luck to go your way and stuff like that. Hopefully, especially from South Africa’s point of view, it will be a good World Cup for us.”
