Former Indian cricketer and Mumbai’s skipper and turbnator, Harbhajan Singh, has expressed his anger at the Mumbai Indians for not accepting Hardik Pandya as their captain for the IPL 2024.
Hardik Pandaya replaced Rohit Sharma as Mumbai Indians skipper, but the team has already lost three back-to-back matches under Hardik’s captaincy so far.
After the team’s loss against Rajasthan, Hardik Pandya was seen sitting alone in a dugout picture that surfed the internet.
The former Indian spinner feels that these things do not look good at all because Hardik has been left all alone in this situation.
In his interaction with Star Sports, Harbhajan Singh said, “The visuals are not looking good. He has been left alone. The players of the franchise should accept him as their captain. The decision has been made, and the team should stick together. Having played for this franchise, the situation is not looking good.”
Former Mumbai Indians player Ambati Rayadu also asked Harbhajan whether the players and management were not allowing Hardik to work freely as captain.
Speaking about the same, Harbhajan said, “I don’t know whether it is intentional or unintentional, but there are a lot of people in the team who are making him confused. The big personalities in the dressing room are not allowing him to work freely as a captain. This is not a good situation to be in for any captain.”
