God Of Cricket Lends Support To Young Pacer Arshdeep Singh After Humiliating Defeat

The young pacer, who bowled a superb final over in the match despite being on the losing side, received a lot of encouragement from former players from both Pakistan and India.
Last Sunday’s match between India and Pakistan was difficult for the Men in Blue, but it was even more difficult for young pacer Arshdeep Singh, who endured savage trolling in the days that followed. India lost the match by five wickets. The 23-year-old dropped Asif Ali in the 18th over even though the batter had not yet opened his account, which was the beginning of everything.
In the penultimate over of the 182-run chase, Asif fully utilised the lifeline as he went on to score 16 off 8 balls before being bowled by Arshdeep. After a suspenseful match between the arch rivals, Pakistan eventually reached the goal with one ball remaining.

But what happened next was terrible, as Arshdeep was subjected to racial taunts on on social media.
Not surprisingly, batting star Sachin Tendulkar is the most recent supporter of the pacer. He pleaded with the crowd to refrain from making disparaging remarks about the athlete personally.

Many former players from both countries have united in support of the young bowler since the incident, even though he lost the match despite bowling an outstanding final over.
Sachin Tendulkar posted multiple tweets from his official Twitter handle, “Every athlete representing the country gives their best and plays for the nation always. They need our constant support & remember, that in sports you win some & you lose some. Let’s keep cricket or any other sport free from personal attacks. @arshdeepsinghh keep working hard..”

“.. and give the best reply by performing on the field. I am keenly following you. My best wishes.”

India will now play Sri Lanka, a match that Rohit Sharma and company must win to stay in the running for the Asia Cup championship. Their opponent is going for a victory in order to increase their chances of making it to the September 11 final, after they defeated Afghanistan in their previous Super 4 match.
