“Gautam Showed his…”Amit Mishra drops a bombshell on Kohli Gambhir feud

Amit Mishra says that Gautam Gambhir should not have been the one to fix his disagreement with Virat Kohli, but it should have been the other way around. Gambhir and Kohli had a big argument in public during the IPL 2023 season when RCB and LSG played against each other in Lucknow. Both Gambhir and Kohli were very angry with each other, and Naveen-ul-Haq was also part of the argument. All three of them got in trouble for it.

During the IPL 2024 season, Gambhir and Kohli resolved their issues. They hugged during the KKR vs RCB match in Bengaluru and also talked before the return match in Kolkata. In an interview on Shubhankar Mishra’s YouTube show, Amit discussed the situation and mentioned that Gambhir was the one who first tried to fix their relationship with Kohli.

The leg spin bowler mentioned that it was the ex-KKR coach who reached out to Kohli, asking about his family’s well-being. He pointed out that it was this person who ended the disagreement, not the famous batsman. Amit Mishra commented that Gambhir demonstrated a generous spirit during that situation, and he believes it could have been Kohli who should have taken that step instead.

“So Gautam showed his big heart at that time. It should have been Kohli who should have gone and ended the feud. He should have gone and said ‘Gauti bhai, let’s end this,'” said Amit Mishra

Kohli and Gambhir are ready to collaborate once more, as Gambhir, a former opening batsman, has been named the new head coach of the Indian cricket team. He has taken over from Rahul Dravid and will begin his coaching role with the tour of Sri Lanka, which starts on July 27.
