Gautam Gambhir receives a massive warning regarding the injury of this Indian star

The all-rounder from India, Nitish Kumar Reddy, was ruled out of the remaining fixtures in the T20I series against England because of injury within hours of the second match at Chennai. Reddy had been part of the team in the series opener in Kolkata earlier this week, but he never got the chance to bat or bowl during that game. Reddy was also included in the India’s squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia and played all five Tests, in which team India lost the series by 1-2.

Aakash Chopra opened up about Reddy’s workload, which, in his opinion, may not have been well-prepped to handle the international grind.

“Nitish Kumar Reddy was injured and ruled out of the series. I am sure you are again wondering, what has happened? I don’t know how this injury came in the game of international cricket,” Chopra said in his Youtube program.

Chopra also recommended that Reddy had already played five Tests against Australia, so fatigue may be one possible reason for the injury.

“Workload and pressure have their own connection. He played five Tests in Australia. He performed there. He was standing on the field, batted a bit, bowled a bit. Let’s say it takes a toll. ·He is a young kid, mind you. Sometimes, the body doesn’t bear trouble,” he added.

“Out of the blue, you realize this is an injury. I presume something has happened; perhaps the body wasn’t prepared for this type of strain and pressure and it broke down. Shivam Dube has been included in place of Nitish Kumar Reddy in the squad,” stated Chopra.
