Former Spinner Amit Mishra Lashes Out Against Richa Chaddha Over Controversial Tweet

After tweeting “Galwan says hi,” Bollywood actress Richa Chadha has drawn criticism. Richa wrote, “Galwan says hi,” in response to remarks made by Lt. General Upendra Dwivedi, commander of the Northern Army. Twitterati attacked the 35-year-old when her message gained popularity.

Amit Mishra, a former India spinner, too criticised Richa for her remark and called it “sickening.” while requesting the actress to show respect to the troops.
He wrote on Twitter: “Absolutely sickening to say the least.. respect our fallen soldiers, respect those who give their all so that you can sleep peacefully at night.”

Mishra recently became fairly loud on Twitter and again made the decision to speak out for the nation. The leg-spinner criticised Shahid Afridi for advising Virat Kohli to quit a few months ago.

Richa’s tweet received criticism, and she has now deleted it. A few hours after her message, Richa apologised on the social media site. She tweeted: “Even though it can never be my intention in the least, if the 3 words which are being dragged into a controversy have offended or hurt anyone, I apologise and also say that it would sadden me if even unintentionally my words have triggered this feeling in my brothers in the fauj (army) of which my own Nanaji has been an illustrious part.”
