‘RCB Will Win IPL Next Year’, AB de Villiers Strong Message To RCB Fans After The Team’s Exit From IPL 2024

Bengaluru had an impressive season but once again they failed to win the title after their exit from the tournament against Rajasthan Royals. De Villiers has represented RCB from 2011 to 2021, expressed his disappointment after the team’s exit. The Proteas also commended the players for their remarkable turnaround during the season after winning only one out of their first eight games.

While posting on ‘X’, the former South African said, “It’s always painful to lose. But as a fan, I’m proud of the boys for making us believe, even when all hope seemed lost at the start of May. I’m sure #RCB will come back stronger next year and bring home that elusive title.”

Despite not winning the title, Royal Challengers’ performance in IPL 2024 will be remembered for their teamwork. Virat Kohli emerged as the top run-scorer with 741 runs in 15 innings.

During the middle phase of the campaign, Rajat Patidar regained his form and scored 395 runs. In the bowling department, Glenn Maxwell and Swapnil Singh claimed six wickets each, while Yash Dayal and Mohammed Siraj stood out as the team’s top wicket-takers where both players grabbed 15 wickets.
