“For the sake of Sport…”Mahesh Bhupathi Urges BCCI to Sell RCB

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have been rocked at the bottom of the table, with the team losing six of their first seven matches. Royal Challengers Bengaluru have suffered a 25-run loss against SRH while chasing 288 in 20 overs.

The bowling has been completely lacking in rhythm and has received harsh reactions from all corners of the world. Even India’s tennis legend Mahesh Bhupati, who has requested BCCI to enforce the sale of RCB to a new owner,.

Mahesh Bhupati has termed RCB’s situation tragic and requested BCCI to step in and sell the team to a new owner who will be caring to build a new franchise.

Mahesh Bhupati took his X account and wrote, “For the sake of the sport, the IPL, the fans, and even the players, I think BCCI needs to enforce the sale of RCB to a new owner who will care to build a sports franchise the way most of the other teams have done so. #tragic.”

It has been a pathetic season for RCB, especially their bowlers, who have been smashed by the batters of the opposition in almost every corner, which creates pressure on batters to almost make 40-45 runs extra
