Fans Critisied BCCI For Announcing Jasprit In A+ Category And Demoting Rahul To B Category

KL Rahul’s problems aren’t decreasing. BCCI’s annual contract has given another blow to this opener. The board removed KL Rahul from the A grade and put him in B. KL was kept in Grade A from October 2021 to September 2022. BCCI has fixed 4 different grades for the annual contract of the players. Players with A+ grades are given 7 crores yearly, 5 crores for A grade, 3 crores for B grade, and one crore rupee for C grade players.

Before the start of the Border Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, KL Rahul was the vice-captain of the Indian team. After a poor performance in the first 2 matches of the series, the BCCI took away this responsibility from him. In the last 2 Test matches against the Kangaroos, KL Rahul was also dropped from the playing XI.

Indian star bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been away from cricket for almost six months due to an injury. He has lost many important tournaments and matches in the past. Despite this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has included him in the A+ category in the annual center contract. He was placed in this category along with regular players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. In such a situation, the fans did not like this decision of the board at all, and they started trolling Bumrah and BCCI on social media.

Jasprit Bumrah played his last international match in T20 against Australia on 25th September. Since then, he has been out due to an injury. People say that Bumrah should have been demoted in the central contract. Many people are demanding the inclusion of Mohammed Shami in place of Bumrah in the A+ category.
