Ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, veteran Indian batsman Virat Kohli and his actor-wife Anushka Sharma traveled to Rishikesh for a spiritual trip.
The renowned couple paid a spiritual visit to the Neem Karoli Baba ashram in Uttarakhand in November before traveling to Swami Dayanand Ji Maharaj’s samadhi at Swami Dayanand Ashram in Rishikesh. After the T20 World Cup in Australia, the cricketer received a break from the tour of New Zealand at that time.
On social media, images of Kohli and Anushka in Rishikesh have gone viral. A three-match T20I series between India and New Zealand is now happening at home.
For the T20Is, Kohli received a rest day. However, the 34-year-old appeared for team India in the one-day series where India defeated New Zealand with a scoreline of 3-0. Team India under the leadership of Hardik Pandya is on level 1-1 in the current T20 series.
