Ex Indian star huge praise for Virat Kohli on showing Sportsman Spirit against Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya has been under the scanner and is being constantly targeted by fans in this year’s IPL. In Mumbai’s match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Hardik Pandya was once again constantly booed by fans, unless ex-RCB’s skipper Virat Kohli stepped in and requested fans not to do the same.

The crowd started booing Hardik Pandya as soon as he came out to bat, but Virat Kohli requested the crowd not to do the same, as Hardik Pandya is an Indian player and the home crowd has seen him evolve as a player.

After Kohli’s request, the crowd started cheering Hardik’s name, and the Mumbai Indians skipper hit the first ball of his inning for a huge six.

Referring to the whole incident, former Mumbai’s and CSK’s players praised Virat Kohli for his sporting spirit.

In his interaction with Star Sports, Harbhajan Singh said, “The way Virat Kohli supported Hardik Pandya and told the crowd not to boo Hardik and cheer for him, it is a sign of a great player and a very good sportsman.”
