Ex-England Star Reveals Surprising Exclusions from T20 World Cup Favorites

Former England great Greme Swann has picked the top four teams for the upcoming T-20 World Cup. The T-20 World Cup is set to start from June 1 to June 29 in the Caribbean and the USA. This will be the first time since the tournament has had 20 teams face each other for the ultimate glory.
Greme Swann picked “India, the West Indies, England, and Australia.”
In his interaction with ANI Greme Swann, he said, “The top four teams I would go for are India and England, and then Australia, unfortunately, and then the West Indies.”
This will be the second instance in the past 7 months when England will step on the field to defend their title.
England experienced a nightmare while defending their ODI World Cup championship in India. Throughout the entire campaign, the Three Lions were following the shadows of the 2019 victorious squad. They finished in seventh place with just six points from nine games, missing out on the knockout stages.
Swann, though, remains upbeat about England’s prospects of winning the next tournament. The former spinner believes that despite the difficulty of carrying the title of defending champion, England has a capable team to meet the challenge.
England will begin their campaign against Scotland on June 4; they will then be up against Australia, Namibia, and Oman in the group stages.
