“Everything just gets ….”Alyssa Healy’s Inspiration Lights up Mitchell Starc’s IPL 2024 Journey

Indian Premier League (IPL) player Mitchell Starc gave appreciation to his wife, Alyssa Healy, for enabling him to bounce back. Following his acquisition for an astounding Rs 24.75 crore, the Australian left-arm fast bowler had a lot of pressure on him. Truly, he turned into the most costly player in the T20 league’s illustrious history.
 
He did, however, have some difficult times initially, as he lost his first two games, giving up 100 runs at an economy rate of 12.50 and failing to take a single wicket. He continued to struggle for most of the competition until he started to settle in during the final league phase leg.
 
In the meantime, Alyssa Healy, Starc’s wife, was spotted supporting her husband at the games. During KKR’s game against Hardik Pandya’s MI at Wankhede Stadium, Healy—who also serves as the captain of the Australian women’s team—was initially observed. Starc never looked back after that. Healy’s presence, according to Starc, gave him more self-assurance. Starc said to Star Sports, “Since Alyssa showed up, everything has been better.”
 
Starc demonstrated why he is considered one of the finest in the world in the playoffs and championship games. After the Knight Riders defeated SRH by 8 wickets in the Qualifier 1 match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Starc was named Player of the Match. With remarkable stats of 4-0-34-3, Starc bowled Travis Head on a peach of a delivery.
 
Maintaining his form, Starc took home the Player of the Match trophy once more in the championship. During the match, the Knight Riders emerged victorious by 8 wickets to win the trophy for the third time, thanks to an outstanding stretch of bowling that ended at 3-0-14-2. 
 
The 34-year-old starc collected 17 wickets at an economy rate of 10.61 in 14 games, the best result of his career being a 4-wicket haul.
