“Every game is a ….”Andy Flower strong words for the RCB team after they suffered their Sixth loss of the season

Royal Challengers Bengaluru head coach Andy Flower tried to cheer up the glum faces in the dressing room after the home side was propelled to their fifth consecutive defeat of the season against Sunrisers Hyderabad by 25 runs.
RCB are currently placed at the bottom of the table and almost need a miracle to qualify for the playoffs from here on.

Speaking to the players who were heartbroken after the loss. Flower urged players to sit and reflect back on their mistakes before making a comeback.

Andy Flower said, “It was a really tough night in the field, of course. They finished off so powerfully, it probably took the wind out of our sails. We will have a think. We will come back stronger. It’s obviously knock-out time. Every game is a semi-final for us.”

No team has ever qualified with less than 16 points with nine or ten teams in the tournament, and to make this happen, Royal Challengers Bangaluru needs to win all seven matches to qualify for the playoffs.

Andy Flower also heaped praise on RCB’s veteran batter, Dinesh Karthik, who played an unbelievable knock of 83 runs on just 35 deliveries, which included 5 boundaries and 7 sixes.

Speaking of Dinesh Karthik, Andy Flower said, “I was really proud of the way you fought with the bat. We lost the game, but I was really proud of the way that you all fought. DK, you are making a push for the World Cup team as well. Well done, mate. You are only getting better.”
