“Don’t think he is good…”The Ravindra Jadeja Warning Explained”

Former Australian great Tom Moody was not impressed by Ravindra Jadeja’s batting for the Chennai Super Kings. Tom Moody feels that Jadeja is not at all a good option to bat at number 7. Ravindra Jadeja is one of the sure-shot picks that is going to be picked as an all-rounder for Team India.

CSK has been using Ravindra as a floater, but that decision has not benefited the Chennai Super Kings.

In his interaction with Star Sports, Tom Moody said, “I’d be taking Jadeja purely because I’m looking for the best left-arm spin bowler. He’s the best left-arm spinner in the country. In my 11th, he’s not batting at No. 7. I don’t think he’s good enough to bat seven for a World Cup side. He’s proven that with his strike rate. You need an impact-type player batting at seven.”

Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan, too, feels the same about Ravindra Jadeja. Irfan feels that if Jadeja is being played at 7, that means the Indian team needs to have a proper finisher.

Team India is expected to announce their World Cup 15 by May 1.
