“Doesn’t like me as a …”Dinesh Karthik gives a shocking remark on England great

RCB’s star wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik took a dig at one of the greatest of the game, Naseer Hussain, saying that Hussain was the only one who didn’t want Karthik to be part of India’s squad in the 2022 World Cup.

Dinesh Karthik has been in red-hot form in this year’s IPL. He scored 28 runs in just 10 balls. Naseer Hussain even praised Dinesh Karthik for his batting and wanted him to be part of India’s T-20 World Cup squad.

However, after the remarks were made by Hussain, Dinesh Karthik made a hilarious comment.

In his interaction with Sky Sports, Karthik said, “Nas I am not going to trust a word of what you said. Nas doesn’t like me as a person, as a player, or as a wicketkeeper, let alone any part of me. This was the first time he said, Oh, you smashed it. But still, if you ask him if he puts the Indian team right now and asks six keepers, I would be the eighth on the list.”

Karthik further added, “Last year at the World Cup, the only person who wanted me so badly out of the team… You took an interview with me, and you stabbed me in the back. Where is Rishabh Pant? That was the headline we got. Don’t try to play nice and coy with me. After ten games, he would probably give me a ring and say, I just thought for a second you batted well and now look good. On a serious note, it has been a good start for me personally.”

Dinesh Karthik will be next seen in action for RCB on April 11 against the Mumbai Indians. In five matches, RCB has just won one match and lost four matches.
