“Divide in Mumbai Indians…”Michael Clarke makes a Shocking claim regarding Mumbai Indians captaincy

Cricket is a team game, not an individual sport. This is the statement given by Michael Clarke. Who feels that there is division in the group, which is the major cause that is stopping Mumbai Indians from functioning as a unit?

In his interaction with Star Sports, Michael Clarke said, “Yeah, I don’t know whether they will proceed to the playoffs; I think it’s wishful thinking for Mumbai Indians in this year’s IPL. There’s a lot more going on inside than what we are seeing outside. You can’t have that many players who will be so inconsistent.

Clarke further added, “According to me, there are different groups inside the changing room, which is something that is not allowing them to function together. They are not able to play as a team.”

In spite of having proven match winners like Suryakumar Yadav, Tim David,Hardik Pandya, Tilak Verma, and Rohit Sharma Mumbai Indians are currently placed at number nine in the points table with just three wins in 10 matches.

Speaking about the same, Michael Clarke said, “Individual brilliance can help you win matches, but for winning tournaments, you need to work as a team. This is unfortunately not the case with the Mumbai Indians this season.”
