Speaking at the post-match conference, Karthik said he always tries to keep things as simple as possible. Head Coach and batting coach Vikram Rathour always respect my practice decision and helped me improve. In the team, I play the role of the finisher, and I am happy doing my part for my nation.
Dinesh Karthik described his role and said, “I have been practicing over some time for this, and I have been doing it for RCB, and I am happy doing it here. It is a consistent routine over a while.”

“When I get off time, I get a lot of practice scenario. Vikram Rathour and Rahul Dravid have also been accommodating of how I want to practice and what shots I want to practice. I have been particular about it and don’t practice too much. I keep it as specific as possible.” He added.

Dinesh Karthik has been selected for the team as a finisher role. And he has proved himself whenever he got the chance to play. Yesterday, once again, he has proven himself. His excellent performance in IPL 2022 makes the way to the International stage, and now team management expects him to play a similar role in the upcoming ICC men’s T20 World Cup.
