Deepak Chahar Ruled Out Of T20 World Cup 2022, BCCI Named His Replacement

Before the starting of this T20 World Cup, Team India is struggling with injuries. Now the bowling all-rounder Deepak Chahar has been ruled out from the upcoming marque event due to fitness issues.

However, Chahar was there with the team in reserves for the T20 World Cup starting in Australia on 16th October. According to the latest news, BCCI has already added Shardul Thakur as the replacement of Deepak Chahar among the reserves. The other three reserves for India are Shreyas Iyer, Ravi Bishnoi and Mohammed Siraj.

Let us tell you that Mohammed Siraj has been roped in for Mohammed Shami who will replace injured Jasprit Bumrah for the T20 World Cup 2022. Bumrah was among the final 15 players in the squad but due to a serious back injury, the bowler had to quit the tournament. The report says that Shami, Siraj, and Chahar will fly to Australia on the upcoming 13th of October. The three pacers will join team India who is currently practising in Perth.

Shami who will be there for Jasprit Bumrah will have a final fitness test at National Cricket Academic, Banglore.
