Decoding England’s Decision To Leave India After The Loss In Rajkot.

After facing a 106-run defeat against team India, the visiting team England will leave for their pre-series base in Abu Dhabi for a much-needed break. Ben Stokes, along with his teammates, will indulge in some golf practice. After that, the team will head to Rajkot for the third test, starting on February 15.

The visiting team has decided to go to Abu Dhabi to get a much-needed break after the second test. The second Test in Hyderabad ended with a day to spare as hosts India, having lost the series opener, staged a remarkable comeback here to level the rubber at 1-1.

The visitors prepared for the much-awaited test series against India with an extensive conditioning camp in Abu Dhabi instead of arriving early for practice matches in India.
During the Abu Dhabi camp before the series, the England team spent a lot of time working on ways to tackle the Indian spinners.

While they rallied to emerge as winners in the opening encounter, the English batters were blown away by Jasprit Bumrah’s brilliant exhibition of reverse swing bowling in the first innings of the second Test before falling short in a record 399-run chase to a disciplined Indian bowling unit in their second innings.

India dismissed England for 292 runs in their second innings on day four to register a series-leveling 106-run win in the second Test here on Monday.

Apart from England, India will also be keen to announce their squad for the remaining three test matches against England after taking calls on the players who are available for selection in the three matches.
