David Warner Creates World Record, Becomes 2nd Battery To Achieves This Milestone After Joe Root And Gordon Greenidge

David Warner is enjoying his career as a batter these days and in the ongoing test series against South Africa, David Warner is breaking some miraculous records.

Australia is facing South Africa in the second test of the three-match Test series in Melbourne. On the second day of the boxing day test match, David Warner created history after scoring a thunderous double hundred in his 100th test match.

Going down the record book, David Warner becomes the 10th batter in cricket history to smash a ton in his 100th test match. Apart from it, David Warner becomes the second batter after former England captain Joe Root to score a double hundred in his 100th test.

David Warner also became the second player to score a hundred in both his 100th ODI and Test match. Before him only the West Indian veteran Gordon Greenidge.

David Warner had smashed 200 runs in just 254 balls. In this inning, he picked 16 fours and two sixes from his bat. The batter got retired hurt and could not continue his inning from then on. Australia has a lead of 197 runs at the stumps of Day 2.
