The former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria has been making headlines in the news lately with his quotes and various of his opinions. Now, Kaneria has made another statement and has requested PM Narendra Modi and the BCCI for help.
Recently, Danish Kaneria has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BCCI for helping him in overturning the lifetime ban imposed on him by the ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board) in 2012 for his involvement in spot-fixing.
While talking to Aajtak, Kaneria said,”I would like to appeal to Prime Minister Modi and the BCCI to help me remove the ban that was imposed on me by the ECB.”
Few days before, Kaneria was seen performing Garba in the festive season of Navaratri. For this, he was trolled by fans, journalists and some cricket experts on social media and it sparked controversy.
Talking about the Pakistan Cricket team, the team has played five matches in this tournament, where they have won two and lost three matches. They played their recent match against Afganistan where they were defeated by eight wickets.
