Former South African pace bowler Dale Steyn went all praise for his former teammate Keshav Maharaj for getting an IPL contract from the Rajasthan Royals.
Keshav Maharaj, who was with the Lucknow Super Giants for practice in India,. Maharaj was surprised after he received a contract from the Rajasthan Royals.
Keshav’s former teammate Dale Steyn took X to congratulate Maharaj.
Dale Steyn wrote, “I’m often a little late in my tweets, but Keshav Maharaj getting called up to the IPL is incredible and well deserved. In a country rich with spinners, acquiring an overseas finger spinner just shows what a quality player he is! Well done, Kesh!”
Dale Steyn was appointed as the bowling coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the previous IPL season; however, he was not available for the 17th season of the IPL.
