Team India’s pace bowling sensation, Jasprit Bumrah, has been the talk of the town after his impressive performance in the second test match, which was played in Vizag.
Jasprit Bumrah was the major architect of team India’s victory, as he picked up a total of nine wickets in the match, picking up six wickets in the first innings and three in the second.
After his stealer performance, Jasprit Bumrah earned praise from one of the legends of the longer formats of the game, Dale Steyn, who said that with his unorthodox action and toe-crushing Yorker, Bumrah is all set to become the next big thing in test cricket.
Steyn further said that there are not many bowlers in the world who are able to deliver Yorkers at will from the red ball. Starc Bumrah and Trent Boult are the only few bowlers who have the caliber to deliver Yorkers at will.
Styen further praised Bumrah by saying that his unorthodox action and his yorker make him lethal regardless of the pitch or conditions he is playing in.
Styen also praised the fast bowling ability that India possesses, because of which the Indian team management is able to manage the workload of players like Jasprit Bumrah, keeping them fresh so that they can deliver whenever the team needs them to do so.
Styen further relied on the importance of playing red ball cricket for the fast bowlers, as he feels that the bowlers who are able to perform in the test matches are able to execute their best delivery in the T-20 format in pressure situations.
Team India is all set to play England in the third test match of the series, which is going to start on February 15 in Rajkot.
