The Chennai Super Kings will look to get back to winning ways after their loss against the Delhi Capitals in their last match by 20 runs.
Chennai Super Kings will have a challenging venue and a challenging opposition ahead as they will be up against one of the most fearsome batting units in this year’s IPL, “Sunrisers Hyderabad.”.
The Chennai Super Kings will play in this match without the services of one of their premium pace bowlers, Mustafizur Rahman. Mustafizur Rahman has flown back home for his visa application for the upcoming T-20 World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in the USA and West Indies in the month of June.
Mustafizur Rahman is likely to return to India on Monday and could miss CSK’s clash against KKR as well. In Mustafizur Rahman’s absence, CSK could either go with Shardul Thakur or Mahesh Theekshana as a replacement.
On the other hand, Chennai could also play with three overseas players, with Moeen Ali and Theekshana to be used as impact players.
