CSK vs LSG, IPL 2024: How Deepak Chahar’s Fielding Mistakes Costs CSK The Game Against Lucknow ?

In the 39th match of the Indian Premier League 2024, Lucknow Super Giants beat Chennai Super Kings by six wickets and gained two valuable points to better their position in the points table of the ongoing season. Meanwhile, Chennai posted a total of 210 runs against LSG but failed to defend it even after getting a good start in bowling.

While bowling, Chennai Super Kings bowlers found it difficult to hold the ball due to heavy dew and fielders made some mistakes as they slipped while gathering the ball.

MS Dhoni wasn’t happy with Deepak Chahar because he didn’t play well in Chennai Super Kings’ loss to Lucknow Super Giants. Chennai had a good start but Lucknow’s Marcus Stoinis played amazingly, leading his team to victory.

Chahar did some misfield at the end of the innings. During those crucial overs, he did not stop some shots from the Lucknow Super Giants’ batsmen, which resulted in them scoring two boundaries. This not only helped Lucknow stay in the game but also added pressure on the rest of the bowlers.

Dhoni didn’t express his feelings, but he was upset with Chahar’s performance. Fans also showed their disappointment with Chahar’s mistakes. Deepak Chahar left one boundary while fielding at short fine leg and in the 19th over of the innings, he missed a ball to boundary on Pathirana’s bowl while fielding at short third man.

In the first innings, Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 108 runs and Shivam Dube scored 66 runs, which helped them to reach a total of 210 runs in 20 overs.
