CSK vs DC, 2023: Not Conway But This Indian Will Face Difficulty On Turning Track Against Delhi Capitals At Chepauk

Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals will face each other in the 54th match of Indian Premier League at Chepauk. Former Indian batter and now a commentator, Aakash Chopra feels Ajinkya Rahane could be the only Chennai Super Kings batter who might face some difficulties if their clash against the Delhi Capitals is played on a turner.

If the home team wins their upcoming match in the IPL 2023, it will solidify their position in the points table and bring them closer to securing a spot in the playoffs. They currently hold the second position and a victory would help them fix their position.

Chopra expressed his views on the upcoming game in the IPL 2023 through a video posted on his YouTube channel. He suggested that Rahane and the other batters from CSK could experience a different surface if the match will be played on a turning track.

While speaking on his Youtube Channel, Aakash Chopra said,”The Chepauk square has pitches on one side with some red soil. So more runs are scored there. I feel those matches are over. Now they will not get them to play there. You will see a pitch that will turn even more. Ajinkya Rahane might have some problems but the rest of the batters will not have any problems.”

He also talked about the CSK opener Devon Conway and observed that the Kiwi batter plays spin well.

The former KKR opener said,”Their openers’ average is sky-high on this ground although Devon Conway might be seen searching the ball a little if it is a black-soil surface, although he still plays spin very well. He does not face difficulties, he controls the game very well.”

Chennai had an amazing win in their last match against Mumbai Indians played at Chepauk. They settled Rohit Sharma and company for 139 and later on chased down the score in 17.4 overs at the loss of four wickets.
