“CSK management flew his father….” Scott Styris Revealed A Unheard Story Of Morkel’s Family

Chennai Super Kings is one of the successful franchises in the Indian Premier League. Every cricket fan knows how IPL franchises have shown respect to their players, especially Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. Chennai lifted the IPL title four times; however, Mumbai Indians clinched the IPL for the most (5) times in the history of the Indian Premier League.

On the other hand, these franchises have maintained their players’ respect and dignity. Every player featured in these franchises always praised their treatment and explained how they enjoyed the dressing room atmosphere like a family.

Talking about the same, former Kiwi all-rounder, Scott Styris revealed an old story that was never heard, in that he explained that CSK treated their player with the utmost dignity and showed respect toward their parents also.

Speaking on the Jio Cinema’s “Legend Lounge” show with Chris Gayle, Suresh Raina, Parthiv Patel, Robin Uthappa, and Anil Kumble. Scott Styris revealed that When Albie was part of the team, CSK had flown his father from South Africa to India in business class since he had never been to India.

“His father had never been to India, so CSK flew him business, not in the contract; they didn’t have to do it,” Styris recalled.

Showing generosity, former Indian player and Mr. IPL Suresh Raina further said, “They give a lot of bonuses, too. You always feel like doing something special for them; you feel like a pampered kid”.
The auction had been completed for the upcoming IPL season, and CSK picked Ben Stokes as their most expensive buy in the history of the Indian Premier League. MS Dhoni, commonly known as “captain cool,” might be the upcoming season will be the last IPL, and CSK is also searching for a new skipper.
