Indian pace bowler Siddharth Kaul has signed a deal with county side Northamptonshire and will be making his debut on the county circuit. Siddharth Kaul, who plays first-class cricket for Punjab, has a wealth of experience, as he has picked up 284 wickets in 83 first-class matches.
Siddarth Kal has been signed by Northamptonshire for the County Cricket Division 2 League and will be adding another arsenal to the side’s bowling arsenal.
Talking about getting signed by Northamptonshire Siddharth Kaul said, “I’m very happy to be here to represent
Northamptonshire and very excited to help the team win games and push for promotion.” I’m confident that I will bring my positive mindset and experience to help my teammates win in any situation in the match.”
Northampton head coach John Sadler expressed excitement about signing experienced campaigner Kaul, echoed by Kaul’s sentiments.
John Sadler said, “Sid has a lot of experience with the ball. He’s played a lot of first-class cricket and is keen to make a big impact when he joins the squad.”
He’s finished his domestic season over in India, where he picked up some good form. So hopefully, he continues that on with us.”
There is a probability of seeing Siddarth Kaul in action in Northamptonshire’s next game against Gloucestershire.
