Cricket Australia Announced Squad For Third Test Match Against South Africa, Star Of 2nd Test Match Sits Out

Australia has announced their squad for the last test match of the three-match test series against South Africa. The Australia team have already won both matches and led the series by 2-0.

Cricket Australia has announced 14 man squad for the final test match. Ashton Agar and Matthew Renshaw got a place in the squad; however, the star performer of the 2nd test match Cameroon Green and star pacer Mitchell Starc have been ruled out of the squad due to the fracture fingers of the bowling hand.

Ashton Agar and Renshaw got a place in the squad of the longest format of cricket after a long time. Agar played the last series against Sri Lanka, and Renshaw is a top-order batter who can bowl some over spin. His recent performance in list A cricket is overwhelming; looking at this, he might get a chance to replace Cameroon Green.

The third test match will start on 4th January-8th January 2023 at Sydney Cricket Ground.
