Breaking News: This star CSK player is set to leave IPL midway for international duties

Chennai Super Kings star pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman is all set to miss the IPL matches after May 1 because of international commitments. Bangladesh is all set to play a five-match T-20 series against Zimbabwe before the T-20 World Cup.
The BCB has also extended the deadline for Mustafizur Rahman to join the squad by April 30 or May 1, but with CSK set to play against the Punjab Kings on May 1, they have agreed on Mustafizur leaving for the international series a day later. A request from BCCI was made in this regard.

Before leaving, Mustafizur will feature for CSK in their three upcoming matches against Lucknow on April 19 and 23, followed by 28 against the Sunrisers, and on May 1 against the Punjab Kings.

In his interaction with ESPNCRICINFO BCB deputy manager Sharihar Nafees, he said, “We had given Mustafizur a leave to play in the IPL till April 30, but since Chennai has a match on May 1, we have extended his leave by a day upon receiving a request from Chennai and the BCCI.”

Mustafizur Rahman is having a brilliant season with the ball currently, as he has picked up 10 wickets in five matches at an average of 18.3.
