Breaking News: Jasprit Bumrah Ruled Out Of T20 World Cup, Confirms BCCI; Replacement To Be Announced Soon

After a bit of pause now an official update has come from BCCI which says that the star Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup.

The BCCI medical team has confirmed that Bumrah has got some serious fracture and he will not be seen in the Indian World Cup squad. The decision was taken after a detailed assessment and advice by the specialists.

Earlier Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out from the 3-match T20I series against South Africa. For the first match, he travelled with the team but he did not play the match due to a serious back fracture.

However, after the exclusion of Bumrah from the T20I series, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly that time said that the Indian pacer is still under scan and an official announcement regarding his World Cup scenario is still to be confirmed.

Now it will be interesting to see whom the BCCI names as the replacement of Jasprit Bumrah for the marquee event in Australia.
