Breaking News: Haris Rauf’s Central Contract Terminated by PCB.

Pakistan cricket has seemed to get into action mode once again as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has terminated the contract of Speedster Haris Rauf. Haris Rauf denied being part of the Australian tour, which led to this action taken by the cricket board. Rauf has also been denied NOC until June 30th to take part in any foreign leagues.

Haris Rauf has been in the controversies for quite a while. The pacer made himself unavailable for the Pakistan tour of Australia at the last moment, and he was being slammed by chief selector Wahab Riaz for his action.

Riaz said that he, along with the former director, tried to facilitate the pacer, but the pacer pulled out at the last moment. Speaking on his part, Rauf said that he never made himself available for the tour.

The Pakistan Cricket Board held a hearing session, and after hearing all the appeals and views of the stakeholders, the board took the decision.

The Pakistan Cricket Board also held a private hearing session for Haris Rauf to hear out his views regarding the whole incident, but the board found his explanation unsatisfactory, leading to the termination of his contract.

In the official statement, the Pakistan Cricket Board said that “playing for Pakistan is the ultimate honor for any sportsperson. Refusal to be part of Pakistan’s test squad without any proper medical reasons is a violation of the central contract.” However, the board has not sacked Rauf for playing on the national team but wants to have his full commitment during this period.

However, the denial of noc will not be able to stop Rauf, as he will be seen playing in the upcoming Pakistan Super League for the Lahore franchise. After this, there is a T-20 tournament in England, but at the same time, Pakistan is all set to play England in four-match T-20 series ahead of the T-20 World Cup, so Rauf will not be participating in the T-20 tournament anyway. The World Cup will begin in June and end on June 29. By then, the dates of the NOC Denial will be all over
