Ben Stokes Surpassed His Current Test Caoch And Top In This Elite List; No Indian In Top 5

England Test skipper Ben Stokes has created history in test cricket. He became the batter to hit the most sixes in the history of Test cricket. Stokes has registered 109 to his name in the longest format of cricket in 160 innings.

With this feat, Stokes also broke the world record made by former New Zealand player and current coach of the England team, Brendon McCullum. McCullum had hit 107 sixes in the 176 innings of his Test career.

Ben Stokes took this world record during the first test match against New Zealand. During England’s second innings, Stokes scored 31 runs off 33 balls, hitting 3 fours and 2 sixes. Stokes made a world record in Test cricket as soon as he hit 2 sixes.

At the same time, Gilchrist is at number three and has hit 100 sixes in Tests. Chris Gayle holds the record for hitting 98 sixes in Tests. Sehwag holds the record for most sixes in Tests from India. Virender Sehwag has hit a total of 91 sixes in Tests. Virender Sehwag is in sixth place, but he could not touch the figure of 100 sixes. He hit 91 sixes in 180 innings.
