BCCI Released Media Advisory Over Rishabh Pant’s Car Accident

Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant was involved in a car accident on Friday morning near Roorkee. He was going to his home in Dehradun, but he dozed off, and his vehicle crashed on the road divider. He was saved by the people around the road and the bus driver of Haryana Roadways.

Police said he was alone in the car, dozed off for some seconds, and lost control of the vehicle. He was driving a Mercedes-AMG GLE43 Coupe.
It is one of the most luxurious cars in the world and is a fully tested car for accidents. The car played an important role in saving his life because it would be really dangerous for him if he had been in another car.

An advisory regulated by Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah.

He wished a speedy recovery for the star wicket-keeper batter; the board member is in constant touch with Rishabh’s family and ensured he got the best medical treatment.

This advisory also included the full medical report of Rishabh Pant, which mentioned that he had two cuts on his forehead, his right knee’s ligament tore, and a wound on his right wrist, ankle, and toe. After all, his condition is stable.

Media Statement – Rishabh Pant

India wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant met with a car accident early on Friday morning near Roorkee, Uttarakhand. He was admitted to Saksham Hospital Multispecialty and Trauma Centre where he was treated for impact injuries.

Rishabh has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back. Rishabh’s condition remains stable, and he has now been shifted to Max Hospital, Dehradun, where he will undergo MRI scans to ascertain the extent of his injuries and formulate his further course of treatment.

The BCCI is in constant touch with Rishabh’s family while the Medical Team is in close contact with the doctors currently treating Rishabh. The Board will see to it that Rishabh receives the best possible medical care and gets all the support he needs to come out of this traumatic phase.
